Saw “Two Towers”. Wanted to choke the girl behind me chattering through the entire movie. That she made a helluva racket with a snackpack during the quiet scenes didn’t do her any favours in that respect.

Got home “last night” at 00:30, packed my suitcase for an hour then got to bed. Spent at least half an hour getting annoyed at housemates being noisy before getting to sleep. Up at 03:30 and had a quick shower before a friend picked me up and we went to Heathrow. Managed to get a fairly cheap plane ticket from Oslo so I didn’t have to take the bus.
Met a pop star in Oslo while waiting for the plane.

Spent Tuesday writing up last part of a coursework that should be in 10th of December but we got an extension for. Damn extention. If it wasn’t for that I’d have less to worry about now ;) I would most likely have done a lousy coursework, but at least I would have some more time off now. Anyway, I still have to do the first half of this coursework… But that can wait until I get back to Norway. At least now I have about 60% of it done, so I can hand it in as a last resort. I have plenty of other stuff to do over Christmas break. But now, off to bed.

I’m a bit worried. Also I’m a bit annoyed with myself. I’ve not done as much of coursework and project as I should have done. I started coding some of the project recently though, and I just realised that I could reuse some code I have for handling linked lists. The only thing I have not decided yet is if I should copy the code verbatim (it’s pretty short) or if I should depend on the library. I guess the last would be the sane thing to do, but it needs some cleaning up. Function names need changing to avoid conflicts etc.
I’m starting to look forward to going away for Christmas, but at the same time I’m worried when I’ll get time to do work. I’ll have to take some time when I’m away, but that has always proved to be a problem. Nevertheless, I need to both read for exams and some work project wise in addition to a coursework. Damn, I’ve been far too lazy lately. How did it happen?

Um, today I hoovered my floor. Or, at least the parts of it I could easily access without moving things around. Let’s just say it was about time…
Got back one of my courseworks. I’m pretty happy with the result, although a bit surprised that so many other people in the class did so well also.

GLLUG meeting. Met in Westminster uni, Cavendish Street, afterwards off to the Green Man for food and beer. Went home before the pub shut, to the surprise of many regulars. Finally managed to get hold of a copy of Linux Magazine (Nov. issue) and also finally managed to spend my £10 gift voucher in Borders (I got it for Christmas last year and it’s really embarrasing not having spent it until now…).

Finally handed in the coursework from hell. Bah. So glad it’s out of my hands, I don’t even care whether I do well or not (it’s however unlikely…).

Apparently this week is “breast week” for spammers. I’m used to getting all kinds of “interesting” offers in my mail, but this week they seem to concentrate on large breasts. Luckily SpamAssassin filter most of it out at the server, so I don’t have to waste bandwidth downloading it to my machine. However, I sometimes go in and check that SpamAssassin didn’t make any false hits, ’cause that’s the kind of paranoid freak I am.
