Noisy neighbours
January 23, 2006
My upstairs neighbours were really noisy again. It started at 2 am last night and is still going. The music this time started out very loud, then, after some shuffling about of feet up there, was turned down to a mere loud. The tune playing in a tight loop now is the same they played last time, but when it started last night it was a different tune. At least that’s a strong indication that it wasn’t just some stereo that started playing because of a glitch in the power, like the police suggested when they were here.
Meh. I’m off to work now.

Strap Moo Moo’s subwoofer to the ceiling and let it rip!!! :D
Failing that, there’s a lot of space in the lounge. Put your bed there.

I too have a noisy neighbour underneath my flat who plays loud music at all hours. He doesn’t mind playing music at 6pm right through to 8am the next morning. I have complained to him alot and he does apologise and turn it down only to do the same thing the next day. Most of this is when he is drunk and stats being very abusive verbally, he also as been know to set off the fire alarm by falling asleep and when I have gone down to complain have seen him with a cigarette and drop it on the floor. What do I do? I have thought about complaining to my landlord about him but Idon’t want to cause myself more grief in the process. Should I complain?

Hi Darren,
If this happens all the time, then yes, complain. I haven’t complained (apart from whinging on the web) because they’ve only been out of line twice in two years, as far as I can remember.
