Today I went for a stroll from Waterloo to Trafalgar Square with some friends. We were accompanied by several hundred thousand other people. Met yet another couple of friends in Trafalgar square and swapped a copy of “The Art of Computer Programming, Volume 1″ (I happened to have two copies…) for “Learning Perl”. Some of us fought our way to Brick Lane for a curry while the rest went on to Hyde Park.

Whoa, this week certainly went fast. In fact, looking back on my diary I can see a pattern here. The last few weeks have gone by with lightning speed; much more so than I would have thought possible. I really am struggling to get things done as it is now. That’s why the updates to this diary comes so seldom as well…
Why is it that it is always the coursework that has the longest time-limit that is most fun to do? I have two course works due in less than two weeks, and one due in about four. Said last coursework is much more fun to play with than the others, which is bad for progress in the two that need to be in soon. This weekend is set off to work specifically on these two course works though, and I have finished one of them already (maybe apart from some cosmetic brush-up).
A few things that happened this week:
- Bought and read `Shadow of the Hegemon’ by Orson Scott Card. Doh! That was last week… Oh well.
- Went ice-skating in Queensway.
